Who am I?

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 18 years of experience with families, couples, and individuals. I view counseling as an opportunity to walk alongside someone struggling with issues that are common to humans, but impacting them in a particular way. I consider it an honor to be invited into someone’s private thought life and seek to use the opportunity to offer perspective, provide encouragement, and nurture growth through difficult circumstances. I am have a Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and additional training in Biblical Counseling through the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation.

I am also certified to provide telehealth services to clients in Florida.

I enjoy working with individuals and couples, teens and adults struggling with a variety of issues including anger, anxiety, depression, parenting, peer relationships, self esteem, spirituality, and trauma.  I have specialized training and experience working with family crises, adjustment issues, cultural adjustment, and trauma.  I am also available to provide marital and premarital counseling.
