Rachel Richardson, MA

Who am I?

It is my belief that asking for help is an act of courage. Life inevitably presents us with challenges and we won’t always know how to respond. As a therapist, I aim to meet you where you are, help you uncover and rediscover your strengths, and empower you to thrive!

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016 from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. The program’s emphasis on multiculturalism and social justice helped develop my view that to be a therapist is to be an advocate for one’s clients. It also ignited my passion about equitable access to mental health care.

I had the privilege of completing my practicum and internship at the BETA Center, a high school in Orlando for pregnant teens and teen mothers, during the 2015-2016 school year. Since then, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings and levels of care, from in-home and at-school services to residential treatment facilities, and have provided individual, family, and group therapy.

Whatever it is that brings you to Abundant Life Partners, I am here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space. I can help you process your emotions, develop a broader set of coping skills, or if just need someone to listen.
