Casey Carroll, MA

Who am I?

Though a North Carolina native, I grew up traveling as a military child. I may be new to Richmond, but I’m passionate about building uplifting relationships with her clients! Since volunteering with the Guardian Ad Litem program for the past several years, I have found a true love for working with children, teens, and young adults. However, I am open to being an agent of change for anyone, including couples and families.

At Methodist University, I majored in both Psychology and Professional Tennis Management while playing on their tennis team all four years. But my drive to help others started at an early age and I always knew my career would reflect that. So I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, in May of 2022 and interned at a private practice. There, I worked for a wide range of clients using a variety of approaches, sharpening my therapeutic knowledge and skill.

I believe that being able to provide therapy one-on-one is a special gift and that the client-to-therapist relationship is the most important element. My hope for my clients is for them to feel comfortable with me and to reach the goals they are working towards to live a fulfilled life.

I love working with:

Anxiety and depression symptoms exhibited in:

  • Teens
  • Young adults
  • Families
  • Couples

Some of my favorite approaches include:
