Brandy Balzer, MA

Hello there! My name is Brandy Balzer. I am a caring and compassionate therapist that works with clients, helping them find hope and healing. I have experience across several different mental health arenas. I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology/Christian Counseling and then a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. I am currently completing my residency for licensure.

I began my journey with a crisis pregnancy center, providing counseling to women and families who experienced an unexpected pregnancy. I worked closely with them offering counseling, parenting classes and helped them with tangible needs that they had. From there, I worked in inpatient psychiatric units including crisis stabilization, detox, and acute patients (child, adolescent, and adult). Afterwards, I transitioned to community-based counseling, working as an in-home therapist for children and their families. For the past few years, I have been working as an Emergency Services Clinician, in which I provided prescreening evaluations for potential inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations.

In my down time, I enjoy spending time with my family.
