Cancellation Policy
At Abundant Life Partners we strive to provide every client with exceptional care. Most of our therapists currently have waitlists for clients that are seeking services. For this reason, many of our clinicians will suggest that you schedule recurring appointments to ensure that you have future appointments reserved. Clients are welcome to cancel or reschedule appointments at any time, as long as they provide at least 24-hours advance notice. We are also able to change in person appointments to virtual sessions at any time. A $80.00 fee will be charged for sessions that are missed or cancelled without at least 24-hour notification.
Cancelling an appointment with less than 24-hours notice does not provide our office the opportunity to offer that appointment time to another client who is awaiting services. Our therapists typically reserve one full hour for each client, so each session constitutes a large portion of their workday.
Please be aware that insurance companies do not reimburse for the $80 fee.
In order to best serve our community, frequent cancellations even with 24 hour notice may result in losing your regular appointment spot.
Clients can opt-in to receive text or voicemail and/or email appointment reminder messages. These messages are sent 48-hours before your appointment as a courtesy. It is ultimately the client’s responsibility to remember appointments. Clients can update their reminder preferences or view their upcoming appointments at any time through our client portal.
Please call or email your therapist directly to cancel. Please do not respond to the reminder texts or emails, as those are automated messages and we do not receive the replies.

You should receive the link in the reminder emails or texts. Please make sure reminders are enabled. You can update reminder preferences in your client portal.
If you haven’t received the appointment reminder containing your video appointment link, you can join the video call from your Client Portal. To do this:
- Log in to your clinician’s Client Portal.
- Navigate to the Appointments tab
- Click Join Video
