According to Julius Caesar, “Experience is the teacher of all things.” My years traveling the world as a military spouse, being a mom, daughter, and home educator have provided me invaluable perspective with which to confront the problems life throws at us. The education I am receiving as a graduate student intertwines with these experiences to help me fulfill my passion as a counselor. Working under the supervision of Meghan Freeman, I am able to offer clinically sound techniques to help you make the most of your experiences.
I use a variety of techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance cognitive therapy (ACT) and work from a strengths-based, client-centered perspective to help each client live life to the fullest. I strongly believe each client brings a unique story that is best told by the client themselves. I am honored to join individuals in their journey.
Penny is a graduate student at Liberty University and expects to graduate in August of 2022 with a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling. It has been her lifelong dream to become a counselor to walk with people through their most challenging times. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and believes deeply in the value of each individual.
