In a world full of brokenness and hurt, I believe that there is always hope—it may be so small that it’s nearly nonexistent, but a sliver of hope can always be found. I believe that the counseling process stems and flourishes from those little seeds of hope. I would love to walk alongside you to provide a supportive and understanding ear.
I earned my MA from Liberty University and am currently a Resident in Counseling working under supervision toward licensure. While I work with all ages, I am most experienced working with children and teens with varying behavioral and emotional challenges. I believe that all behavior is communication and love to help children and families understand what is being communicated through behavior.
I approach counseling from a strengths-based perspective, seeing the value and dignity in each human and their story. As a Christian, I work from a Biblical worldview while incorporating solution-focused and cognitive behavioral techniques and methods.
In my free time, spending time with my family and friends gives me life! You might also find me tackling a DIY project around the house, starting and never finishing a book, or baking a batch of cookies or brownies when the sweet tooth is calling.
