Hello and Welcome!
My name is Hahnna Del Vecchio, mom, military wife, lover of fitness, mental wellness, art, and coffee. I dream big, work hard, and always strive to learn and grow from my experiences.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in 2013 from the University of Southern California with a concentration in health/medical and a sub-concentration in military families and veterans. I have worked in various locations including a VA hospital, early intervention center, in-patient adolescent psychiatric hospital, and private practice.
I have experience working with trauma, PTSD, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, depression, chronic pain associated with endometriosis and uterine abnormalities, stressors associated with neurological disorders, parenting struggles, and learning disabilities.
My approach to therapy is a whole-body approach. I strongly believe the human body is a complex machine and everything interconnects. If one or multiple things are not functioning properly the machine will not work at an optimal level. I aim to emphasize the 360-degree view of a client’s health by acknowledging the mental, emotional, physical, and social factors that face them daily to develop creative solutions to life’s struggles.
*Fun Fact* I am an Artist with a passion for art therapy practices, and also a certified Peak Pilates instructor with a specialization in neuro Pilates working with various neurological disorders. I am beyond excited to combine my skill sets as an MSW, artist, and certified Peak Pilates instructor and offer comprehensive sessions that truly focus on the importance of the mind-body connection. I want to help my clients not only reach their goals but to excel in a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment.
