Although I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families, I also greatly enjoy working with adults and couples. My passion has been helping people live their best lives for over twenty years. I earned my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene, NH and have lived in VA for around 12 years.
I draw from my diverse experiences working in inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings to help clients in the way best suited to their goals an personalities. I practice from an eclectic framework of Solution-Focused, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Informed Care, and Play and Art Therapy Modalities. I am also able to provide clinical supervision for Residents in Counseling.
In my free time I enjoy kayaking and other outdoor activities with family, friends, and my dog.
